Hong Kong Maker Faire successful!
The first Maker Faire in Hong Kong was very successful. It was indead a small Maker Faire hosted in one hall of the Polytechnical University in Hong Kong but there have been more than 30 hackers, makers and artists showing their products, ideas and visions to a few hundred visitors ranging from young to old.
Especially Makeblock made a lot of impressions on all visitors with our huge and useful demo-applications made of the big, strong and colorful extruded aluminum parts like the human-size robot, moving camera-slider or different robots.
We met a lot of interesting people, got a lot of useful contacts in Hong Kong, China and all over the world. Probably also some potential partners, customers and distributors.
After such a successful Mini Maker Faire with more visitors than capacity I believe that the next Maker Faire in Hong Kong will be not a mini, but a big Maker Faire!
